Why Rap songs aren't as good in 2011

More music

Can't wait to get in to the studio and get these next songs knocked out for the new CD. I think there is a natural progression. One thing I can say. I've noticed that some rappers are really starting to work on their metaphors. Most still don't know what a metaphor is. I can drop names, but if you just listen you already know who they are.

Metaphors and Similes when it comes to rap

I finally figured it out! I know what happened to the rap game. Most rap artist you hear on the radio  or anywhere for that matter now a days don't use metaphors in their songs. They just talk, but what made rap big to begin with his how clever the artist could be with their words and metaphors. Listen to the songs out there and see if they actually use metaphors and if they do..do they make sense? They skipped basic English. That's why Eminem is on top. He uses Metaphors & Similes non stop
