Okay. Duets is my new favorite singing show. Don't know if anyone caught it last night, but it was nice. Robin Thick kept picking the right people to sing with him. Especially the first girl. She was like Aaliyah reborn. Smooth sexy voice. John legend and his Duet was good too. Can't wait to see more.

OMG! lmao. I don't know what to say. I had a feeling since Phillip Phillips was still there that he must have a large following. There is no way he should have won American Idol. No way! American is smoking crack. I don't know what to say. Although as powerful as I thought Jessica's voice was....Singing next to Jennifer Holliday made me realize that I have been dumb down. I realize there are no real singers any more. They are just watered down remnants of a long lost civilization. When Jennifer Holliday sang it was loud, strong and soulful. When Jessica sang next to her she sounded like someone took all the base out of the system. Don't get me wrong. Jessica got a voice, but she's only 16 and will develop that soul has she grows. That being said....Phillip cannot hold a candle to Jessica. So what happened?

Okay okay. Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez. Who will be the next American Idol? I said Jessica time and time gain, but last night's performance wasn't that great. Even the Whitney song she sang wasn't that great. Still a fan, but I started flipping back and forth between channels as these two were singing. Honestly I was bored. Sorry. I can't call this one. All I can do is hope that America remembers all of Jessica's other songs, but as an American Idol I'm wondering if she's too young for the push that would go behind her because she's still in school for another couple of years. Phillip is older and can take off right away. Too close to call.

Joshua Ledet. Gone! What? So Phillip phillips is still there? Am I missing something. Jessica...Yes. Phillip..Huh? Okay..yes Joshua seemed to have screamed a lot, but he was good! At least the top 10 are set financially at this point so 3rd place is not bad. Jessica still set for Idol winner, but if Phillip wins I'm going to need a new TV because I will throw the remote at it. Either which way...good luck to the final two!

Donna Summer Dead at 63

Donna Summer died earlier this morning after a battle with cancer. Most notable for her song "Last Dance" from the movie "Thank God it's Friday" in 1978, she had a huge career in Dance Music. I remember as a kid seeing her in concert on HBO just giving it everything she had. Her music will always be a part of my life.

So now there's 3 and the show doesn't seem quite the same without Hollie. Although we still have Jessica there. She came out looking like a woman. I guess towards the end that's the point. The growth. She always does well and will win. #1 she has a great voice. #2 because that would be something to talk about because she was voted off, saved by the judges and goes on to win American Idol? yeah that will be some talk.

Still not a fan of Phillip Phillips. I think he has a nice voice, but too much scratchy yelling. I could only take that for a couple of weeks. I need smooth sounds. Something that won't cut my eardrums. Here's to Jessica! win it all.

Hollie Cavanagh American Idol Eliminated May 10, 2012

So Hollie is gone. Eliminated for not having enough personality. I guess. I thought she came a long way. She had great personality. Hollie and Jessica were always my top two picks. Guess I only have Jessica now. Although how in the world is Phillip Phillips still there? I haven't heard him sing yet. Just a little yelling. I'll miss Hollie, but hopefully Jessica will bring it home for the both of them. This week May 17th we'll find out who will face off in the finale. My guess...Jessica and Josh. What's your guess?

So the winner of the Voice season 2 was Jermaine Paul. I seriously thought Juliet Simms was going to win. She came a long way. Didn't really like her in the beginning, but by the end she was my favorite. She stands out. She dresses to impress. I think she was the most improved.

Jermaine on the other hand was already a decent singer. Back up for Alicia keys. I mean....The guy is already a singer. He probably could have asked Alicia to help him instead of taking the spot from someone who has no connections, but all in all I'm happy for him
